The fashion world is in mourning at the news of Annabel Tollman’s tragic death, announced earlier this week. Aged just 36, Annabel had made a substantial mark on the world of fashion as one of the most sought-after stylists in Hollywood. Her CV is certainly impressive; she held posts as fashion editor at Interview magazine, as well as working at Wallpaper* early on in her career, before she branched out into stylist work. Particularly known for her red carpet work, Annabel has dressed the likes of Scarlett Johansson, Liv Tyler, Mariah Carey and style icons the Olsen twins. Before her death, Annabel was working as a stylist and spokeswoman for eBay fashion, and had a Bravo reality TV show in the works. A woman with many roles, she had an unmistakable fashion sense which was the envy of many.

Known for her old-Hollywood aesthetic, we love that Annabel always celebrated the female figure – something that we are big on here at Panache. In fact, we were very lucky to work with Annabel on a mini-series of videos where she gave her tips and tricks on how to style our bras. We love that Annabel wasn’t afraid to dress curvy women as well as slender figures, and she certainly knew her stuff. From her time studying fashion at Central Saint Martin to her busy career in New York, she stood out for her impeccable sense of style; she was very deserving of her spot in the Hollywood Reporter’s list of ’25 Most Powerful Stylists’.

Tributes that have poured in since the announcement have attested to Annabel’s sparkling personality, great intelligence and warmth – she will certainly be missed by both fashionistas and friends alike.
