This non-wired, light weight bra combines a soft side sling and drop down cups to provide both support during the day and ease at feeding time. Andorra non wired
(Available in 28-40 back, D-H cup)
Even though our Andorra non wired isn’t a Nursing Bra, we couldn’t help but feature this beauty. Many women have spoken about how they love to use the Andorra as a pregnancy bra just because of how comfortable and light it is to wear. With matching lace briefs in a full stretch lace short style to keep you feeling sophisticated, the Andorra non wired is available in a pretty Blush shade with a subtle two tone lace (and coming soon in black!).
A-Line
The A-Frame style Nursing Bra (try our Eleanor) provides a little more coverage of the breasts. It’s soft ‘A’ shape frame provides support and holds the breast in place while the cup is dropped down for feeding.
Side Sling
The Side Sling style Nursing Bra (try our Sophie) covers the breast a little less than the A-Line style does. It features a soft sling of fabric at the side of each breast. It supports the breast from the side, ensuring breasts stay in place whilst feeding whilst allowing for more skin-on-skin contact.
When should I get a Nursing Bra?
The time when expectant mothers tend to purchase maternity bras varies from person to person. The general rule of thumb is that when you start feeling uncomfortable, it’s the perfect time to switch.
What Should I Look For In a Nursing Bra?
Those pesky pregnancy hormones can make your breasts fluctuate at the drop of a hat, and with daily fluid retention you can expect your breasts to vary in size frequently. Look to buy a bra that not only offers comfort, but the ability to grow with your body and adjust when the time is needed. This means that the bra may last you your entire pregnancy, and even several months afterwards.
Do I Need to Get Measured?
Finally, if you are unsure of your size, go to your local Panache Stockist and make sure you get professionally fitted. During your pregnancy it can often be difficult to size up your breasts as they are constantly changing, so getting a professional fitting will ensure you get all the support you need from a bra, as well as helpful advice from a friendly sales assistant if you have any queries.
Pregnancy has different symptoms and side efforts for every woman, but some aspects remain the same. Comfort is the key to a happy pregnancy, so get the support you need to enjoy this life-changing journey.
