
Summer has finally burst through with the glorious heat wave we have been experiencing this week. We still want to keep up with our exercise routines but we don’t want to be cooped up in a sweaty gym when we should be outside enjoying the summer. We’ve come up with the perfect exercises to do in the sun meaning you can still stay fit AND enjoy the sunshine.
Running
Runs around the UK countryside or one of our large national parks are even more beautiful when the sun is shining bright with the flowers in full bloom. Racket Sports
Get your Wimbledon on with a good game of tennis or badminton. It’s a perfect game for the whole family and suitable for players of all levels – beginner to expert. Fun to play, it’s a nice little work out in the sun and in typical Wimbledon fashion, you’re allowed strawberries and cream after!
Yoga

Swimming
All we want to do is jump into a cold pool to cool down this week. The UK has plenty of lidos and numerous gyms now offer outdoor pools – which are perfect for the summer.
