Doesn’t time fly when you’re having fun, eh? It’s been over two whole weeks since we packed up our bags and headed over to the Renaissance Hotel in Manchester for the fabulous Plus North event! Now in its second year, Plus North is a plus size fashion event, where brands, bloggers and beautiful women can all get together and celebrate all things plus size!
We were absolutely honoured to have a stall at the event, showcasing our new Sculptresse collections. As well as offering an exclusive discount on the day, we were also offering a free fitting service. As you probably know, we are passionate about achieving the perfect fit for every woman so this was a perfect opportunity for us to put our words into actions and use our expertise to help people out. There were also some lingerie-themed cupcakes on offer on our stall, which went down a treat!
The day was full of positivity and we certainly spotted plenty of fabulous outfits! It was wonderful to be able to chat with you lovely lot and get feedback on the Sculptresse range – it’s lovely to hear that you love it as much as we do! We designed the range to be comfortable and supportive for the fuller figure – so it’s wonderful when you tell us that all our hard work has paid off!
The most popular styles on the day were the Pure Lace in Hot Pink and the Willow in Raspberry – you all clearly have fantastic taste!
From what we could see at our stall, the whole day was a fantastic success. As well as plenty of opportunity to shop plus-size fashion, there were workshops, catwalks showcasing real women modelling fantastic clothes, a cheeky photo booth and a party at the end of the day to celebrate. We’re very proud to have been a part of the event this year, and if you’re into all things plus-size fashion it’s definitely one to add to the calendar for next year!
