We’re all pretty exhausted from the excitement and fun that was Glastonbury at the weekend however there’s no rest for the avid festival go-ers with festival season in full swing.
Florence Welch led the way for strong women at festivals this year so we’re taking a look at our top leading ladies performing this weekend at Wireless Festival.
Rita Ora
After hitting the scene with ‘Hot Right Now’ back in 2012, Rita has gone from strength to strength to become one of the biggest acts in the UK. Her pop anthems are a constant crowd pleaser and her infectious energy will be sure to get the audience going.
Mary J Blige
Ultimately one of the most refined urban singers of our time, Mary’s career has extended throughout decades creating some timeless hits along the way. We’re excited for her to bust out ‘No More Drama’ but we’re even more excited to see her perform tracks from her newest UK-produced album ‘The London Sessions’.
Charli XCX
Charli has exploded onto the scene in a big way this year, namely through her catchy duet with Rita Ora (perhaps they could surprise us with a performance together?) Charli’s infectious slice of rebellious pop is both fun and punk mixed into one. Her zany performance style and quirky fashion make her one to watch this year.
Ciara
Ever since her first single ‘Goodies’, Ciara has churned out hit after hit, which we are sure, will get the crowd going. A true showman, Ciara’s voice sounds perfect live, even when performing those tricky dance moves – expect a full show!
We’re super excited to see these ladies perform this weekend – who are you most excited to see? Tell us about your festival stories at @lovepanache @cleoadores
