Panache Lingerie

With Valentine ’s Day on the horizon, love is in the air here at Panache HQ and I am looking forward to my wedding in 7 months. I have the venue, the menu and most importantly the dress sorted but think I might be way behind on everything else! So seeking some inspiration I’ve been looking at my favourite celebrity weddings from the past few years.

First up from 2013, effortless and timeless, modern bride Christina Ricci married long-term boyfriend James Heerdegen in this gorgeous Riccardo Tisci wedding dress. I love the fact that she shared this stunning picture with her 15,000 twitter followers rather than hold out for a magazine deal. The pair tied the knot at Harold Pratt House and Peterson Hall on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.

What inspires me; embracing the location in our photography.

Millie Mackintosh and Professor Green’s 2013 wedding at Babington House was an extremely elegant affair. The bride wore a vintage lace dress teamed with Christian Louboutins.

What inspires me; hopefully Nick will look just as dapper in blue – although we’ll be pairing it with brown shoes not black.

Following an 8 year relationship, fellow Sheffielder, Jessica Ennis married her childhood sweetheart Andy Hill in a traditional ceremony in Derbyshire and are now expecting their first child together. Congratulations from all the team at Panache!

What inspires me; Those pastel flowers, so delicate and pretty.

Gwen Stefani is one of our favourite celeb brides – the pop princess married Gavin Rossdale in a custom-made pink and white gown. Coloured dresses were all over the catwalks this season and you have to watch this space to see if I have opted for traditional ivory/white or gone for a something a little more individual.

What inspires me; To wear what makes you feel good but be a bold bride that stands out from the rest!

I better get a move on and plan our invitations, flowers, decorations, etc. there is still loads to do! One thing I do know is  under my dress I’ll be wearing one of the styles from the Serenity Bridal lingerie range. Crafted by our Senior Designer, Debbie Morley, I love the pretty embroidery and ivory colour but most of all I love the little touches – like the trinkets that are based on the earrings Debbie wore on her wedding day and the little ribbon bow sewn in every style, designed to be your ‘something blue’.
